James Warfield (Age 31)[1] is an American professional mixed martial artist. A professional MMA competitor since 2003, Warfield mostly competed in his regional circuit, making a name for himself in the Wisconsin area. He has fought notable fighters such as: Yves Edwards, Seth Baczynski, Rory Markham, and Steve Carl.

In 2003 Warfield made his MMA debut, losing to Mike Napralla via submission. Warfield's next two fights he showed off his heavy hands winning both via knockout. He then lost to future UFC, and IFL veteran Rory Markham.
After the loss Warfield went on a nine fight winning streak that he carried from 2004 to 2008; defeating fighters like Demi Deeds, and Jay Ellis. His streak was snapped after losing to soon to be Ultimate Fighter veteran Seth Baczynski. Only six days later he bounced back with a TKO win over Travis Nath. Then losing to Bellator vet, Steve Carl. He record three impressive knockout victories before signing with upstart Florida based promotion, Shine Fights.
James made his debut for Shine Fights on short notice taking a fight against accomplished veteran Yves Edwards. Warfield lost the fight via second round submission coming via triangle choke. Warfield went on a 6-1 streak before returning to the promotion in 2010 when he took place in the Shine Fights Lightweight Grand Prix on September 10, 2010. He lost in the first round to Kyle Baker by split decision.[2]
